COMPANY PROFILE Implemented projects
An important breakthrough in the history of the company was winning orders in Železárny a drátovny Bohumín, a.s., where we performed demanding reconstructions of industrial halls, administrative buildings, the construction of the sludge pressing plant - waste water treatment plant and construction of Scheuch - minimising of exhalations from blast furnaces. At the same time, the company participated in the reconstruction of school facilities in Karviná.

The potential SSKA - Stavební společnosti Karviná, a.s. has increased and grown since 1996. A lot of construction work was implemented in the area of civil, industrial and flat constructions, including, the BILLA supermarket in Český Těšín, the JANČA site for the wholesale of electrical material, SHELL and BP fuel stations in Ostrava, PROGRES fuel station in Rychvald, Objects of the emergency service in Bohumín and Karviná, the polyfunctional building of the OMS company in Karviná, the general reconstruction of the basic school in Komenského Street in Karviná, completion of the construction of the sanatorium in Darkov, the polyfunctional building with flats in Fryštátska Street in Karviná and many others.

Some of the largest orders implemented for the statutory city of Karviná performed by our company were particularly industrial buildings and engineering networks in the locality of the Industrial Zone Karviná - Nové Pole, reconstruction of the historic centre in Karviná, reconstruction of the House of Culture, reconstruction of residential buildings in Mendelov, and the recently completed reconstruction of the municipality building in Karol Sliwky Street.

Each year we participate in the regeneration of panel houses project in the Karviná region. The permanent offer of our company includes the construction of family houses, heat insulation of the peripheral shells of buildings and joinery services which represent an additional production activity of our company. Our joinery workshop implemented the order for the reconstruction of the children's corner in the Božena Němcova park in Karviná which in 2000 received an appraisal from the international jury on the 7th GRAND PRIX of the Association of Architects in the reconstruction category.
